Exclusive! The Mentors to release new single
The Mentors are pleased to announce the release of the their first pop single, “Who, What, Where, When, Why and How”.
Lead singer of ‘The Mentors’ Matt Lee says that, “this single is pure pop. Imagine a song that heals broken hearts, makes you feel amazing and that you can achieve anything…Well, our single is nothing like that but it is good. Dogs seem to like it”.
The Mentors formed in 2008 by bass player Sam Atkins and guitarist Bill Thompson and have seen various line-ups over the years but Sam states, “this line-up has something special. I can’t quite put my finger on it but when when we play together magic happens. The last venue we played was a full house and before the end of the first song the venue was empty. Magic y’see”.
Drummer and general noise maker Sarah Perkins is the newest member of the band and likes nothing better than providing The Mentors with a solid beat although not necessarily in time with the rest of the group it makes for an interesting experience. “When I hit things with sticks it makes a noise”, said Sarah to this reporter.
The Mentors single is released today exclusively from a box in the back of Bill’s car. They could be bigger than One Direction, Susan Boyle, Pudsey the dancing dog and more popular than Greggs the bakers so catch them whilst you can as tomorrow they maybe gone…
