Being a Young Journalist

This week at Osgodby Primary School the new team of Young Journalists have got up to speed after starting their training a little later than the rest of you. Over the past few weeks they have been getting to grips with tripods, microphones and SLR cables and trying to remember their lines!

This was the first time they have appeared on camera and they loved it. There were probably more ‘bloopers’ than we had hoped for but hey, Practice makes Perfect! The whole team are already working on their next YJA News broadcast so watch this space…

Welcome to YJA Osgodby! I remember visiting your school when I worked on the BBC Lincolnshire Bus. This was many years ago, when the current team were still in nappies!

I must say, you all seem very confident in front of the camera. I’m really looking forward to seeing some of your articles.
