Real Madrid stay top of Football’s rich list for the 10th year running!
14 of the 20 Premier League teams have made the top 30 big spenders list, that’s nearly half! Manchester United are the highest English team on the table sitting high in 2nd, behind the Madrid giants.
Results might not be going well on the pitch for the Red Devils but off-pitch sales are going high as they just landed a record 10 year shirt deal with Adidas for 750 million pounds! The deal starts at the end of the season. Manchester United also generate tons of money due to shirt sales.
No Champions League football this season will affect United’s standing in 2016’s list, but a return to the elite next season, allied to their commercial might and TV income, could, in Deloitte’s estimation, see them at number one in 2017, beating the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Barcelona!
Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain filled the next spots.
English clubs Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool were placed sixth to ninth, all of them showing healthy rises in revenues.
Newcastle and Everton were newcomers into the top 30, whilst Tottenham were placed in 13th. Here is the list of the top 10 richest football teams:

Will Real Madrid top the list for the 11th time next January or will Manchester United perform a shock and reach the top of the list?
