Lamborghini celebrate with new model
September 25th 2014 was a landmark day for one of Italy’s leading car manufacturers. To commemorate their 50th anniversary, Lamborghini launched a new supercar and named it the Huracan.
So for half a century, Lamborghini have been making fast and amazingly good-looking cars. Let’s take a close-up look at the Huracan.
The body is made of aluminium and carbon fibre, which makes it lighter than the last Lamborghini. 0-60mph takes 2.5 seconds (better than a Koinigsegg Agera R) and it’s got 375 HP (horse power) giving it a top speed of 205 mph. It comes in two different models, one being the soft top (convertible) and the other being the hard top (not a convertible).
This car is included in BBC’s Top Gear’s new DVD, Perfect Road Trip 2. It plays an important role being driven by presenter Richard Hammond and features alongside the new McLaren 650S driven by Jeremy Clarkson.
So conclusion time: overall it is a brilliant car, it looks nice and goes like a rocket. The price is reasonable too, just a mere £241,945!
