Ariana Grande – The Honeymoon Tour: Review!
As some of you may know, last night, I went to see Ariana Grande’s The Honeymoon Tour, in Manchester. It was ari-mazing and I will never forget it, as it was the best moment of my entire life.
First, I got my merchandise, which included:
Programme – £15
4 Packs of buttons – £8
Poster – £5
Wristband – £5
Glowstick – £6
I am really happy with all the above; they will be treasured forever, just like the special moment of seeing Ariana live.
Before Ariana lit up the arena, she hired a supporting act. The band was called Rixton and they are famous themselves. (You know, the ones who sing Me and My Broken Heart?) They performed for about 40 minutes and they were quite good. They mentioned that their hometown is Manchester and that their debut album just came out. The album is called Let The Road.
There was about a 30 minute break between Rixton and Ariana Grande. When Ariana did come on though, everyone started screaming (including me – I think I hurt my throat!).
Ariana started with a very popular song of hers, Bang Bang. She sang the whole song amazingly and fireworks were going off, throughout the number. She even rapped Nicki Minaj’s part!
Ariana sang 18 songs and was on for about 1 hour and 40 minutes. She gave it her all in songs such like The Way, Right There, Pink Champagne, Love Me Harder, Why Try, One Last Time and lots more.
The 17th song was Break Free. Everyone was singing their heart out and waving their glowsticks in the air during this favourite.
Her last song, Problem, was probably her most famous song ever. She showed the lyric video behind her, and gave it her all whilst singing the song. I looked around and I didn’t see one person who wasn’t joining in. It was the best show……. ever.
The highlight for me was when she rode on the cloud, during Best Mistake. It was also amazing when she stood on the chandelier during Right There. Not forgetting the mimu gloves during My Everything. (Mimu gloves are what Ariana wore in the performance of My Everything. They allowed her to hold a note really long.)
The outfits were incredible. Ariana started by wearing a black, glittery leotard-like suit, with see-through flappy bits hanging off the end, also with matching cat ears. She then wore a silver, glittery crop top, with matching high waist shorts and cat ears. Another outfit she wore was a golden dress, covered with fluffy golden feathers. At one point of the show, she wore a silver, glittery top with a long, purple skirt and even darker purple flowers on the skirt. The last outfit was a black and white dress, with black and white cat ears.
It was an amazing night and I don’t think anything will ever beat it. That’s all for now!
