What’s next for Kim K?
In May 2013, Kim and husband Kanye West had their first child together and named her North West. However, since the birth of North, also known as Nori, the couple have been trying to produce another child for their two-year-old daughter. This has proved difficult: due to problems during North’s birth. Kim received the news that she may only be able to carry one more child – if she could get pregnant again.
Despite these difficulties, Kim has announced she is now pregnant again! Reporters say she left the hospital in hysterical tears of joy, after seeing her family doctor for a scan.
A day after releasing the pregnancy news, Kim was invited to the CDFA’s. She wore a beautiful black sparkly dress, with feather shoulders. Even though the dress was amazing, a candle obviously didn’t think so!
At the dinner after the awards, Kim sat near Pharrell Williams and his wife Helen Lasichanh. Unexpectedly, the feathers on her dress were set on fire by a burning candle. As Pharrell and Helen saw a panicked Kim, they ran over to her rescue. Luckily, they doused the flame and returned to their dinner!
On Instagram, Kim shared with her followers, “LOL. After the awards dinner the feathers of my dress caught on fire from a candle and they jumped on me to get it out! #Wereon”
Kim then tweeted on Twitter, “Shout out to Pharrell and Helen who saved my life last night!”
If you thought that was enough excitement for Kim in one week, she also met her brand new family member Caitlyn Jenner! Kim met Caitlyn, who used to be Olympian Bruce Jenner, on her first-ever magazine cover shoot. It was for Vanity Fair, and Kim said, “She is absolutely beautiful!”
When Kim was asked about the new Caitlyn, this is how she responded, “I am so proud that she can be her authentic self, I guess that’s what life’s all about!”
After a roller coaster of a week, Kim Kardashian is still a young mum, with brand new adventures and, no doubt, many uphill rides in front of her.
