Brendan Rodgers wants ‘big job’

Swansea have sacked their manager Gary Monk and have been enquiring about a suitable replacement. The Welsh side seem to be rather interested in Brendan Rodgers, who is currently unemployed following his recent departure from Liverpool.

Seven months ago it was all so very different for Monk, with Swansea riding high in the Premier League. Even by the present day standards, his dismissal appears ruthless.

The very likeable Rodgers does not seem bothered at all as he says he is holding out for the England job. As you will certainly know by now if you are a football fan, the England manager is Roy Hodgson, however it appears that Brendan has set his heart on succeeding him as England manager.
