This month, Lumiere London transformed our capital into a festival of light

At a number of London’s iconic venues, there were huge celebrations – a true festival of light.

Decorations included life-sized 3D elephants, giant fish, LED stickman, flying flowers and, best of all, human figures floating in the sky!

Over the weekend, thirty very different and creative artists combined to create this fabulous display courtesy of the gifted producers Artichoke.

Crowds flocked to Mayfair, Westminster, Piccadilly, Kings Cross and Trafalgar Square to see a spectacular event that they are unlikely to ever forget.

One  excited spectator said, “At one point I found myself in Regent Street, milling around with families and young couples beneath two gigantic tropical fish. It’s rare that anything this spectacular happens for free!”
