The New iPhone SE

Maybe you aren’t too fond of the large iPhone 6 or 6S, but still want those innovative features they have. Well, Apple has thought ahead; The iPhone SE has been released, which is cheaper than the iPhone 6s and smaller. This upgrade is better for those who are not willing to spend the amount needed for the 6s.

Both video and photo capabilities receive a massive boost

The phone has the incredibly fast A9 chip and the brilliant camera which allows you to film videos as high a quality as your television. It is a large step for the development of the ‘5’ series.

As with all new technology, there will always be criticisms. In fact, some people are saying that the 4inch smartphone is not ‘up to scratch’ for the current smartphone climate. Tapping websites and apps ‘can be a hard job’ says Samuel Gibb for the Guardian. In addition, owners of the new phone are commenting how ‘harsh’ the curved edges are on your hands, after clutching it for a while. Although it lives up to the standards of technology from its older brother, it may struggle to wow the world as much as the release of the 6s did. Many are saying how Apple has taken a step back in terms of development for their iPhone line. Despite this, there are rumours that the iPhone 7 will come out September 2016 to keep the Apple tech train rolling!

The iPhone SE said to be one of the best small phones about. Its competitors include the Xperia Z5 compact, which costs around £90 less than the SE. Before purchasing this phone, consider going over your options as its a lot of money to fork out. The phone is a mirror image of the 5S, comes in the beautiful rose gold colour of the new iPhone and is the same thickness of the 5S also.

It may be unfair to compare it with the 6S since the power of that phone is on another level, however the SE can satisfy the needs of those who require an up to date yet small phone from Apple.

Have you got one? Do you think this is a clever move from Apple or just them cashing in on peoples need to have the newest release from the tech giant?
