Golden Buzzer Time for Simon
Saturday night on Britain’s Got Talent a group of dancing Stormtroopers wowed Simon Cowell and became the fifth and final golden buzzer act on Britain’s Got Talent.
The group, Boogie Storm performed a medley of pop songs such as Gangnam style, Single Ladies by Beyoncé and even a little bit of Silentó’s “Watch me Whip Watch me Nae Nae” which was hilarious because I can’t remember ever seeing a group of Stormtroopers with such style and swagger.
It is the 5th golden buzzer act of this year and Boogie Storm will now go straight through to the semi-final rounds of the competition. Simon said: “I don’t know who you are, but I literally said ‘If we could find Stormtroopers who could dance’ – seriously, I said that – ‘this show is going to go into a different league’. This is probably the reason for his decision to push the golden buzzer.
All golden buzzer acts have now been chosen including Ant and Dec’s choice which is new to this year’s show. The lucky 5 acts have been given a pass straight to the semi-finals but every other act has to survive a few more rounds of judging.
Did you see the show on Saturday? Even for those of you who are not BGT fans you have to watch Boogie Storm, they just bring a smile to your face and it will be 3 minutes well spent. Just click below to see them.
