Power of Makeup
In this article I am going to talk you through a makeup routine that takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
First I wash my face in warm water using a flannel. When my face is ready for makeup, I start with Illuminating Touch foundation. I put a little spot of foundation on the back of my hand and add some Nivea moisturising cream
For my cheeks, I use a Cheek Palette by Tanya Burr. I start with the colour beach bronze, which I apply to the apples of my cheeks using my blusher brush.
Under beach bronze I apply Pretty Peony with the same brush. For my eyes I start with Essence Silver Eyeshadow.
For the next stage of my eyes, I use mascara, this is Lash Sensational Black Lash multiplying mascara by Maybeline.
Finally, I top my look off with Lip Velvet Stick which changes colour according to your personal PH scale.
All the makeup items are ready available from well-known high street shops.
These days some people may wonder what the difference is between a cheap product and an expensive product. Some people may say it’s a ‘rip off’ buying products that cost ridiculous amounts, such as lipsticks priced at £60.
But what really is the difference between these products? It possibly could be the quality or maybe there is just no difference at all. My opinion is that some expensive products might be better than cheaper ones but you never know until you try.
Some people might prefer products that are not tested on animals and some people really don’t have a preference. I prefer products that have natural ingredients and that are not tested on animals. There is no need to harm or kill any animal just for us to make ourselves feel pretty. I think it is cruel and selfish to harm any animal in the process of our beauty. Animals have feelings just like you and I.
If you prefer products that are NOT tested on animals then The Body Shop has an entire range for you to choose from and it’s all in one store making it easier for you.
