Bake Off is coming to an end!
Starring the grand bakers, Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, crazy commentators Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins and some rather keen bakers, The Great British Bake Off is back – bigger and better than ever!
For the few people on the planets who are unaware, The Great British Bake Off (GBBO) is a TV series where there are multiple bakers being pushed to the limits to make some very divine yet challenging bakes. It is set in the little Cornish village of Mousehole.
After a week the judges will choose a star baker and a baker to illuminate until there is a winner. GBBO has been going on for six years and for millions is a must-see on a Wednesday night at 8pm.
This year is sadly the last year of the show- so farewell ‘soggy bottoms’! Paul Hollywood wants to continue so he is going to do three more series on the Channel 4. However, Mary Berry, Mel and Sue are on BBC.
Millions of GBBO fans will regard it as a great shame that the show has come to its 7th and final series.
A Year 6 pupil said, “I’ve always wanted to be on the show, I can’t believe that the Bake Off has been separated, it won’t be the same without Mary, Mel and Sue.” Another agreed and said, “Bake Off was my inspiration to start baking. If it’s not going to be on I don’t know what I will do on a Wednesday night.”
