Universal Studios and Illumination Entertainment have made yet another Despicable Me!

This June, Despicable Me 3 is coming out and it succeeds three very successful films: Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2 and the prequel, Minions.

This year’s main characters are: Lucy Wilde (voice by Kristen Wiig), Gru (Steve Carell), Balthazar Bratt (Trey Parker), Agnes (Nev Scharrel), Edith (Dana Gaier) and Margo (Miranda Cosgrove).

This movie’s plot goes a bit like this: Gru meets a childhood star who has grown to be obsessed with an 80’s character. His name is Balthazar Bratt. Although all that is going on, Gru also meets his long-lost twin, Dru. Dru wants to team up with Gru and try and steal the diamond that Balthazar has stolen.

Despicable Me was their first hit movie. This 3D computer-animated comedy film was released in October 2010 and, although many people flocked to watch this spectacular movie, it only got 4 rating stars.

Earlier that year, three books related to the movie were published, as well as the children’s puppet book featured in the film.

Despicable Me 2 was released on the 28th June 2013. Because the first one was such a success, lots more people went to see this one.

The third one was Minions, released on the 26th June 2015. In case you don’t know, the minions are little yellow creatures that appear in all the movies, but this one is about before they met Gru. The main minions are Kevin, Bob and Stuart.
