The Fidget Spinner Craze
Over the years, what young people have been up to has varied a lot. This means that the trends have changed with them. The machine challenge, the bottle flip challenge, the dangerous and daring knife game are just a few of the things people have been up to. Now comes the fidget spinner.
The fidget spinner is a wheel-like object which is just a bit smaller than the palm of your hand. It has three long bumps that extend off it and a hole in each one. You place your thumb and index finger on the centre circle, then you quickly spin the bumps and then it spins. Although it may sound boring to some people, others find it highly addictive.
“I personally think that fidget spinners are a fun toy and are very addicting to fidget with!” said one Year 6 boy.
“I think that they are pointless because they don’t do much and they just spin around,” said another.
Those are two different opinions from two different people. So some find it highly addicting and fun, whereas others just think it as being a waste of money and time.
Many demonstrations of the fidget spinner in action are available on YouTube and if you would like to buy one they are available online from websites such as Amazon and eBay.
So, what do you think about fidget spinners, are they useless and boring or are they addictive and worth every penny?
