Last night ITV showcased the 23rd National Television Awards hosted by Dermot O’Leary. The National Television Awards is Britain’s leading TV awards event where all the winners are chosen exclusively by you. Many millions of votes are cast each year via post, telephone and online. The results are revealed live on ITV from The O2 London in a spectacular celebration of the nation’s most loved stars and shows.

Winner of the Best Challenge Show

The show opened with a comedy sketch featuring Piers Morgan and Dermot O’Leary. Not an obvious comedy duo but it worked. Ant & Dec won 3 awards that night taking their total to an outstanding amount of 32 NTA awards. This will surely never be rivalled. The awards were for: TV Presenter; Challenge Show (I’m A Celebrity) and The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award. This Morning won the award for best Daytime TV and Strictly Come Dancing was voted Best Talent Show.
