Sonny’s Video Game Series: Part 1
Hey video game lovers! Welcome to my first article in a series about video games. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have the best 10 video games in the world? Well if you do, compare them to my top 10:
10: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
I like this game but sometimes the buttons you press can give rise to frustration. Take the jump button for example, the character will jump a little bit after you press the button and this can be a little bit irritating!
9: Super Mario
Ok, I know that not many people in the world don’t know who Mario is but on some of the levels, for some people, it can be incredibly hard. But for others it can be a breeze. I found most of it really tricky so if you want yourself to be really challenged A LOT, you can ask for this popular game.
8: Mario Kart
This game was fun at first but once you complete all the cups on the Grand Prix mode, it can get pretty boring.
7: Mario and Sonic at the 2012 Olympic Games
This is a good game for all of the family to play but after a while, when you’ve completed the tournaments and the London Party mode, all you can do is play the events in the single match mode.
6: Mario Party 8
This game is really fun and includes characters, which don’t really appear in these types of games, but you can only have a certain number of mini-games and you can only unlock them if you come across playing them in Party Mode (which doesn’t happen very often).
Now for games that are more popular and are still being played today:
5: Wii Fit or Wii Fit Plus
So, I know video games might be a tiny bit unhealthy for your eyes and mind but this game does totally the opposite! This is a fitness game you and even your pets can join in the fun. You can play games whilst getting fitter and fitter!
Even though I don’t play this game, I watched my cousin play it and it looks like a good game for older children and adults. Despite it’s a fighting game and you try to defeat other people and you die and all that jazz, it a good game to play if you’re fascinated in stealth and concentration.
If you like imagination and activeness then ROBLOX is your game. Whilst making your own games and playing other peoples, this game lives beyond it catchphrase, ‘powering imagination’.
2: Mario Kart 8
I know that I’m doing lots of Mario this and Mario that but this is one of my favourite Mario kart games I never want to miss if I decide to play it. Given that there are better graphics and you can race on walls and ceilings as well as the floor, plus you can transform your kart into a hand glider, this is one of the games I think is too sweet to miss.
1: Super Smash Bros
This is my top-rated game of my first post of my video game series. Instead of trying to run out an opponent’s life bar, players seek to knock the other players out of the boundaries of the arena.
Look out for my next article coming your way soon!
