The Commonweath Games in the Scottish city of Glasgow was officially opened by the Queen last night.
The Queen, world leaders, veterans and their families along with thousands of others have attended the main commemoration event marking the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings in France.
The news was first confirmed on William and Kate’s personal website on the blog, but it wasn’t until the next day that they announced it is St James Palace and surprisingly the Queen was the last to know!
