At Carre’s Grammar School in Sleaford, they are supporting the MNDA (Motor Neuron Disease Association) by having students complete a 7in7in7 challenge, this is where students complete 7 activities, in a time scale of 7, and together as a school complete these once a month for 7 months.
The teacher running the 7in7in7 challenge, Ms Angus, wants to raise awareness for this disease, that can hit anyone with no warning or cure, as “Earlier in the same year (2019) that Rob (Burrow the rugby player, who played for England as a 9 or 2, and Commander of the Order of the British Empire) was diagnosed with MND, I lost my brother to MND – having already lost my Dad to MND in 2005.”
The 7in7in7 challenge is not only for Carre’s Grammar School, you can complete a 7in7in7 challenge as “Anyone can take on the challenge – see the MNDA website for details 7 in 7 Challenge | MND Association”
