These scientific Air Ups are the latest craze for adults, teens and children when they’re out and about. The bottles come in different colours and the pods come in different scents .
‘Taste by scent’ works by … You smell the fantastic flavours of the pods. Your nose smells it so it tells your brain that it’s juice and you think you are drinking juice whilst you’re actually drinking fresh water. Which is helpful for your health. The pods are replaceable and you put the pods around the staw to smell them .
Air Up’s have released an iron bottle that keeps your water colder but the original ones are plastic and come in different colours. Everything comes at a price and the cheapest is the charcoal grey and electric orange bottle – the most expensive is the iron bottle .
We interviewed Violet a year 6 pupil from Burgh le Marsh Primary School, who told us, “I just don’t think it is worth that much money for flavoured water. Why spend so much money when there are more important things?”
However when we spoke to Faith another year 6 pupil she told us “I really love them the flavours are delicious.”
