We have recently all celebrated Halloween, but not everyone celebrates it. In fact lots of people celebrate light parties instead.
What is a light party ?
A light party is something Christians have started celebrating lately. Since halloween disrespects god’s wishes and celebrates Satan, in christians’ opinions. It is quite normal for a party but everyone wears bright clothes and lights candles.
We interviewed Miss Bullion, a school teaching assistant and very important member of the community baptist church in Burgh – Le – Marsh, Lincolnshire. She told us “I don’t like it [Halloween] and I think that normally we say to our children don’t speak to strangers whereas on halloween we let them knock on their doors. But also Halloween is where we celebrate the devil and evil.”
