Music in 2023 so far has seen emerging artists and existing artists throw new songs into the mix, here are some popular music artists already this year…

Taylor swift

Taylor swift is a world-famous music artist / singer and has had many songs in the chart multiple times. Some of her popular songs are: You belong with me (2008), Anti-hero (2022), Shake it off (2014), Lover (2019), Look what you made me do (2017). She has done many concerts and is doing her most recent one at the minute: Era’s world tour.

The weeknd

The weekend is currently thought to be the most popular music artist on the planet with the most monthly listeners on Spotify – 111.4 million (as of 20 March 2023). Some of his popular songs include Save your tears (2020), Starboy (2016), I was never there (2018), Blinding lights (2020), Earned it (2015). The Weeknd famous in 2015 with the hit ‘Earned it’.

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus is an American songwriter, singer and actress. Her first song was ‘see you again’ in 2007. Some of her most popular songs have been: Flowers (2023), Party in the U.S.A (2009), Angles like you (2020). 

Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran is a worldwide famous singer his first song was ‘The A team’ in 2011. He has done some concerts over the years and has one coming up soon. A few of his most popular songs include: Shape of you (2017), Bad habits (2021), Photograph (2014), Castle on the hill (2017). 

Eminem

Eminem originally became famous in 1999 after the release of his new album The slim shady LP. Some of his most popular songs are: Mockingbird (2004), Superman (2002), Without me (2002), Loose yourself (2002).
