‘Worlds Oldest Dog’ is a Guinness World Record holder

The world’s oldest dog, Bobi a Portuguese Mastiff, dies aged 31 ( 217 in dog years).

Bobi’s whole life was a miracle when he and his 3 brothers were born his current owners could not afford to take care of them.

The owners decided to sell all the puppies and when his brothers were sold they didn’t realise there was a 4th, Bobi.

When the children of the owners found out they didn’t tell their parents. When the parents found out Bobi was too old to be sold they kept him. Now Bobi has sadly died at the age of 31 achieving the record for the world’s oldest dog. But, a twist of the tale is that a spokesperson for the Guinness World Records has said a “formal review” of the oldest dog record is underway and that the organisation was examining the evidence and consulting experts due to some veterinarians disputing Bobi’s age.
