About

The Young Journalist Academy, established in 2008, encourages young people to engage with news and current affairs by creating their own School Newsroom and publishing their work to a global audience.

This is a fantastic opportunity that offers pupils, schools and community groups the chance to gain national recognition for the ability to create quality broadcast material in partnership with Paradigm Arts.

We are proud to have many supporters including The Royal Albert Hall, The Guardian, WaterAid, Teenage Cancer Trust, Historic Royal Palaces amongst others.

This opportunity enables schools to work with industry trained broadcast journalists and other professionals to train students and staff in all aspects of broadcast journalism. These include writing, producing, filming and recording.
