Christmas: Tree time?

Is it time too have our Christmas trees out?

Lots of people have many views on when its time to put up our trees so we investigated them. A traditional factor is to put up our trees on December 3^rd as it is the first day of advent. Advent is a special time for Christians it is celebrating the ‘coming’ of Jesus. 

But this is a confusing time as the name of Advent calendars makes you think they start on advent, but they start on the 1^st of December. The 1^st of December could also be a good time to put up your tree but here’s also some other people’s view.

YJA: Eliza when do you put up your Christmas decorations?

Eliza: I put up my Christmas decorations on the 15th of December.

YJA: Why the 15th of December?

Eliza: Because it is halfway through the month leading up till Christmas.

YJA: Now we will interview Maisie.

YJA: Maisie when do you put up your Christmas décor?

Maisie: I think Christmas decorations should go up 1st of December or after as that is when the season starts.
