The Esports event which began on the 26th of January has just finished, with a prize pool of $7.675 million!
The amazing duo event of FNCS has recently come to an end with the winners earning $185,000 split between two. The top three duos in the event were:
- Malibuca and Merstach
- Queasy and ThomasHD
- Kiro and Kiduoo
Theres something special about the second place in the leaderboard, a specific player ThomasHD has placed second in 2 previous FNCS making this his third. You might be thinking that he still makes thousands, but he just wants to win lift the trophy. He has never won an FNCS but has placed second 3 times and two of which being by one point. He really does have a curse, in this tournament just gone, he lost by one point which could’ve easily been earned by one kill.
The tournament started with several qualifiers which all lead up to the grand finals. This is where the top 50 duos make their money. This is where the $7.675 million lies.
So why don’t you get your kids into this game of Fortnite, where they could wander down the stairs one night for dinner and tell you that they have just won an amount of money that you make in a yearly salary.
