Many people have a few ideas about human evolution but some of the main predictions are out of control.
A.I. technology is everywhere around us, from our smartphones or tablets that reporters use to type up articles. The late science mastermind, Professor Stephen Hawkins, had many predictions of the coming future of our world and planet.
The world renounced professor stated to one the most popular news source, The Guardian, a few years prior to his death that, “The A.I. ‘genie’ is spiralling out of hand…a new life form that can out-perform humans. He also stated that,” Due to Trump’s actions…Earth will become like Venus; with the temperature rising to 250 degrees celsius and rain made up of sulphuric acid. This of course, will be be highly harmful to humans, animals and our environment as acids above the ph of 9 could potentially corrode your flesh.
Ian Pearson, an ex-labour party MP, also predicted that in and around the next few years, drones will start labouring and delivering packages and mail. He described the risk of having machines with similar IQ of an average human by 2025, as “ the beginning of the end, really”.
Aisha, a Y5 pupil, commented, “ I am actually afraid that we may become extinct and the world is changing too fast”
Another pupil from Year5 said, “I think that it is incredible..I’m scared and excited of the future…I think humans could become hybrids and I’m excited by the fact that we could have superpowers”.
Will all these estimations come true? Are we to become hybrids? Well, let’s wait and see!
