YUNGBLUD – A Review

group of people watching live performance

YUNGBLUD took to the stage at Resorts World Arena in Birmingham on the 18th February with a new show that had only been debuted the night prior in Cardiff

I have been to see YUNGBLUD twice before but seeing him in Birmingham at the new show and then the night after in Machester was incredible

YUNGBLUD’s show was incredible with so many new elements he has never had the chance to put into a show before. The northern boy jumped and ran around stage all night and never stopped moving. From pyrotechnics to rain from confetti to a toilet and sink on stage, the show was amazing.

My experience at the show was that of a hardcore fan. I arrived at the queue at 11am on Friday- the day before the concert and was 3rd in line. I took on the task of sorting out numbers and made friends with those infront of me. By 5pm that night we had already met the head of security for the venue, the duty manager and the event manager. They had all come out to make sure we were okay and let us know where the nearest toilets and food places were. Even if you go for another show I would highly recommend his arena.

I think the thing that impacted me most from the show other than the man’s wild energy was the set design. YUNGBLUD has truly never had a set design so brilliant and I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced a gig with such an incredible stage design.
