Hull City came into the 26/27 Premier League season with a 750/1 chance of winning the league, according to BetVictor.
Their first game at Old Trafford, home to Premier League giants Manchester United ended in a 2-0 victory for Hull City – known as The Tigers. Against all odds and a team who have won multiple league titles, Hull City’s victory was an amazing achievement that has got fans talking.
In the ground and following the game the Hull City fans were captured singing their signature song “you’re getting mauled by the tigers” which is now a phrase going around the internet and getting more popular by the day.
After an impressive start to the season which has seen them go unbeaten in four games, the club now sit in 4th position. Following their recent 2-2 draw with Chelsea, manager Sergej Jakirovic who was awarded Premier League Manager of the Month for August, told the BBC “Eight points against very difficult opponents. We have to continue like this.”
