The new series of Celebrity Traitors is here, and Traitor Richard E. Grant has already confessed. Claudia Winkleman chose Love Island host Maya Jama and actor Richard E. Grant to become this season’s Traitors.
The first episode began and suspicion started on one of the Traitors as Joe Lycett asked Richard E. Grant, “what are you?” Richard immediately replied with “Traitor, what’s the point in being in the game if you’re not”. An awkward silence then followed leaving contestants shocked!
James Blunt, who is a faithful on the show, was the first to speak after the confession “It’s an interesting angle; you need to be clear that you’re not”. This has led to Richard being the first suspect on the series. After the awkward conversation Richard then spoke privately on the show “I forgot the game for a moment”.
The traitors later met for the first time with Maya Jama and Claudia Winkleman hilariously referencing his confession saying, “you are a faithful”.
As the meeting went on, the Traitors had to choose who they wanted to become their 3rd Traitor, they chose James Acaster and Amol Rajan. However, one of them would be murdered and the other would become the next Traitor.
Both contestants pleaded, but Maya and Richard made their decision. It was confirmed the newest traitor of the show was James Acaster.
Will the suspicion stay on Richard, or will the traitors win the whole show?
